The Northumberland National Park is England’s most northerly national park, filled with moorland, forest and the most famous evidence of Roman occupation Hadrian’s Wall. Besides Roman evidence there has been many archaeological sites that have been discovered and these can be personally viewed throughout the many museums in this county. The national park’s environment creates a natural habitat to many species of bird, other wildlife; and flora that distinctly changes with each season.
