Haria is a town in the north of Lanzarote in the Las Palmas province. It lies in the valley of 1,000 Palms surrounded by the Risco de Famara mountain range, the tallest of the island. Despite being tranquil, it is also a quiet little town, only becoming livelier on Saturday mornings when the market takes places in the main Plaza de Leon y Castillo.
The market tends to sell local produce including handicrafts, honey, vegetables and goats' cheese. Other attractions in Haria include a small art gallery but the main attraction is walking amongst the village and taking in its beautiful appearance and atmosphere plus the volcanoes and valleys in the surrounding area. The Cueva de los Verdes lies here, in which you can discover as well as the Jameos del Agua.
