There is also a statue of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine that dates back to the 4th century BC on display here.
This beautiful set of Romanesque buildings is an excellent example of well-preserved medieval architecture. There is a 3 aisled Church, which dates back to the 11th century with an elegant campanile that has been built in the Lombard style, along with a cloister dating from the 12th century. The rooms are all well preserved and the buildings form a harmonious group.
