Pinoso is a small agricultural town in the mountains that offers visitors a chance to relax in the peace and stillness of the countryside, far away from the noise and crowds of Spain's more busier cities and resorts. Currently though, it is attempting to increase tourism to the area; the coastal areas close by have effectively almost run out of space to build and so they are spreading inland to towns like Pinoso. The town has yet to make a name for itself as a significant tourist destination but it may be one to watch in the coming years. Coming to Pinoso will give you the opportunity to experience the more traditional rural Spain. Every Saturday is Pinoso's weekly market, which sells fresh produce. Pinoso is known for its quality red wines and the production of marble and rock salt.
