Antalya is a coastal city in Turkey and the capital city of the Province of the same name, surrounded by mountains on three sides, the city has been transformed into an international resort since development and investment began in 1970.
If you're after a good time, then where better to come than to Antalya, to purchase your souvenirs for your friends back home, to find these items, there are two places you can go:
There is the main square of the city, where you can on occasion find temporary open air exhibitions and performances, or there is the historical city centre where you can find bars, restaurants, shopping, clubs and hotels, all huddled together along cobbled streets.
For a fun day out, why not try something other than shopping, why not take a bus trip to the church of St Nicholas (yes, Santa Claus himself) check out exactly where he served as a Bishop in the 4th Century, then that is followed by a boat trip to the sunken city on Kekova Island, where you can dive under and take a closer look.
However, if you would prefer a diving or boat tour, why not book one? The diving tours are put together by professional divers, and the boat tours include swimming stops, drinks, food and sunbathing, so if you have a natural affinity for water, then this is for you.
Speaking of water affinity, why not head to a water park, enjoy dolphin shows and all the aquaslides, or even some rafting in designated rafting locations.
Afterwards, why not head to the Turkish Baths for a bit of pampering before heading out for the evening and enjoy a traditional Turkish Night, filled with music, dancing, and drinking and most importantly, the ever famous Turkish cuisine.
